Students of classes IX and X would go through their
Summative Assessment I (SA I) for academic session 2013-2014 in the second week
of September 2013 through a pen-paper test, announced Central Board of
Secondary Education (CBSE) in a recent release.
The question papers will be supplied to schools by the
CBSE on 12 September, and the test would start from 16 September by the
schools. This time, the CBSE will provide schools with the marking scheme
through online on 20 September. However, the board has left it to schools to
make their own date sheets.
Each school will be provided with two sets of unique
question papers generated through online software by CBSE. Earlier, the board used
to provide question papers and marking scheme for conducting the SA through CDs
only.
The question papers are
being designed by the CBSE and will be sent online to schools in order to
maintain uniformity and standardization throughout the process, revealed Navin
Maini, research officer (technology), CSBE.
